FAST 3rd Education and Health Fair 29 May 2016

GMC is pleased to be a valued partner of FAST in the annual Education and Health Fair held on 29 May 2016 at 10 Raeburn Park. GMC’s booth saw many interested FDWs signing up for our skills upgrading courses like Infant Care, Elderly Caregiving courses etc. GMC is committed to provide these courses at very affordable fees so that more FDWs can benefit from such trainings and in turn benefit their employers.

Minister of State for Manpower visits GMC

Minister of State for Manpower, Sam Tan paid an official visit to GMC on 4 Dec 2015 to find more about the SIP. Accompanied by officers from the Ministry of Manpower, MOS toured our Learning Centre and observed FDWs learning and practicing how to clean window safely.

“I am very happy to know that first-time Foreign Domestic Workers (FDWs) are taught about their employment rights and well-being conditions during the Settling-In Programme (SIP). Education is key to help FDWs work effectively and safely, and at the same time, safeguard their well-being.”
